The Yellow Wallpaper

The story The Yellow Wallpaper was a interesting story about how a lady who thought the yellow wall paper has a women underneath it and was moving around. Reading this story at first I thought that her delusions were her husbands fault for not allowing her to use her built up emotions by what she liked to do which was write. I thought he was suppressing her  thoughts which made her imagine things. But then in the story she goes on to talk about her baby, the baby she was scared to be alone with. I realized she might have postpartum depression, which is common among women after having a baby. But the she goes on to say when she was a child she got more entertainment and terror out of a blank wall and plain furniture then a child did at a toy store, which seems a bit odd for a little girl. With that said, I knew something has always been off with this lady since childhood. Her husband was actually a very caring kind man i believe, trying his best to take care of his wife. And so at the end of this story, her being "inside" the wall paper but a smile on my face because it seemed exactly where she belonged.
